About Me or Does GPF Really mean Gallons Per Flush?

I’ve been following tech and the many trappings of it for the past 10 years and now that the Blog bandwagon has most definitely left the station, I thought I would go ahead and nonchalantly clamour aboard and offer my four cents to the electro-mix. Jeremy Smith is my name and I have a companion website, gpfault.org, which is for a fantastically amazing radio website called General Protection Fault. Like comedians who have a myspace, facebook and geneology page along with their own personal page, I am now doing the same but with a Blog (pronounced ‘blah-augh’)… but not quite as funny.

The hope for this companion to gpfault.org is to give you a chance to read about what is happening on a more immediate basis in the tech world, and give you a quick look into my feelings regarding it. It is also a way to achieve a passing grade in my Journalism 394 class taught by the lovely Lynne.

Say nVidia has a new video card… well, I will have some info and an opinion here, that would only make it to gpfault.org once there is some substance to back it up. In a way, this is where you can find the raw data which makes General Protection Fault what it is. It’s also a great way to make myself do something each week on the web; be a contributor and not just a consumer. Or , to place it in Bit-Torrent terms, to become a seed and cease being a leech.
